About us

Menntafélag Pólska Móðurmáls “PERSONA” is a volunteer‑based association established in 2020. We are a broad‑issue organization whose primary purpose is the preservation of patriotic values and the Polish language.

We are a group of like‑minded individuals who, among other activities, work to preserve the Polish language, traditions, and culture within Iceland’s Polish community. We carry out various initiatives with a medium‑ to long‑term focus. Some of our flagship programs include “Polish Kindergarten” with branches in Reykjavík and Keflavík and the annual celebration of Polish national holidays.

We cooperate closely with the Polish Embassy in Iceland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and various NGOs in Poland and across Europe. We also participate in Erasmus+ and other international programs. Moreover, we are open to collaboration with any governmental bodies, NGOs, or private enterprises that share our mission and are willing to support our initiatives.
